Personal data
On this demo, the quote request sends and stores nothing: your answers and photos stay in your browser and disappear when you leave the page.
On a real site, this is what we would state. Data controller: Compas & Copeau (fictitious). Purpose: preparing the quote and arranging the visit you ask for. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
Data collected: the type of project, its description, optional dimensions and budget range, photos of the room if you add any, the town where the work is, your availability, your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number. The exact address is only asked for when the visit is arranged.
Photos: before anything is sent, they are resized and stripped in your browser of their metadata (EXIF, XMP), including the GPS location that phones often record. Please avoid photographing people or documents.
Recipients: the company's own team only. Retention: 3 years after the last contact if no quote is signed, then deletion; photos are deleted once the visit has taken place.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, by writing to donnees@compas-copeau.example (fictitious address). If you feel your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
Accessibility
This demo is designed to be usable with a keyboard and a screen reader: checked contrasts, dark theme, high contrast, adjustable text size, reduced motion when your device asks for it.
It is checked by automated tests (axe, WCAG 2.2 level AA) but has not undergone a full RGAA audit.
